The protection of a false fase to hide our true identities and personalities. The fear for our own trades makes it desirable to hide behind something that doesn’t have our facial features. The features that represent who whe are is what we like to escape from at times.The mud masks are representing those safe hiding places we create for ourselves. The instagram and facebook profiles carefully curating our happy and perfect moments of our existEnce. The avatars we put up to rise above imperfection and human mortality. Or simply a brief departure from the day to day pressure perhaps.
