Confusion and chaos behind sanded builders film: Vintage twine, wood, fabric and found objects and builders film.This is an evolution of my earlier series; Maps Of The Opaque Mind. Capturing the different emotional stages my mother is going through. Dementia is now frustrating my mother’s life. Anxiety, Confusion and chaos are slowly taking over. It’s not a mather of trying to connect the dots, her life is focused now around managing her own thoughts and emotions in order not to lose control over her own existence. The abstract unruly mess behind the skins is an attempt to visualise what she must go through at this stage.
